In der diesjährigen sound:frame AUSTELLUNG (28.03. - 26.04.2009), die ganz um das Festivalthema 2009 EVOLUTION REMIXED! kreist, werden auf 1200 Quadratmeter Fläche im Erdgeschoß des Wiener Künstlerhauses audio:visuelle Rauminstallationen und Videoarbeiten (inter)nationaler KünstlerInnen zu sehen sein.

Arbeiten wie eine raumgreifende Skulptur, die durch die Bespielung mit Projektionen und Sound zum Leben erwacht, ein Raum, der die BesucherInnen in unterschiedliche Clubatmosphären eintauchen lässt, großteilige Screenpanoramen und -skulpturen sowie inhaltlich abgestimmte Videostationen ermöglichen eine beeindruckende Reise durch den aktuellen Stand der Visualisierung elektronischer Musik, der sich immer wieder auf seine eigene EVOLUTION und auf Werke der letzten 100 Jahre bezieht, diese REMIXED und neu definiert.

Darüber hinaus wird jeden Donnerstag im Rahmen der AUSTELLUNG eine SPECIAL AV PERFORMANCE im Künstlerhaus k/haus präsentiert. depart feat. Richard Eigner, PI.PA. und KO.CH (Pia Palme und Chris Koppolt), Claudia Rohrmoser und Ritornell sowie VJ Anyone werden mit ihren Performances für den wöchentlichen Höhepunkt der sound:frame Ausstellung sorgen.

This year's sound:frame EXHIBITION (28.03- 26.04.2009), whose major 2009 festival focus is EVOLUTION REMIXED!, will be displayed in the 1200m2 space in the ground floor of Vienna's Künstlerhaus. The EXHIBITION will showcase the audio:visual space installations and video compositions of the (inter)national artists participating in this year's event.

Works like a space-lunging sculpture will come to live between projection and sound and the performance area will allow its attendees to dive into the many varying club atmospheres. Large-screen panoramas, sculptures, and thematically coordinated video stations will generate an unforgettable journey through art, space, and time. The sound:frame EXHIBITION will reveal and display the current status of the visualization of electronic music, an art form produced by its own EVOLUTION of REMIXED work from the last 100 years.

In addition, each Thursday of the EXHIBITION program will host a SPECIAL AV PERFORMANCE in Künstlerhaus. depart featuring Richard Eigner, PI.PA, and KO.CH (Pia Palme and Chris Koppolt) Claudia Rohrmoser, Rotornell, and VJ Anyone will ensure weekly highlights at the sound:frame EXHIBITION with their mind-blowing performances.

Die sound:frame AUSTELLUNG EVOLUTION REMIXED! findet zwischen 28. März - 26. April 2009 im Erdgeschoß des Künstlerhaus k/haus statt. Jeden Donnerstag präsentiert sound:frame eine SPECIAL AV PERFORMANCE im Künstlerhaus k/haus.
